Rappler Caught Trying To Cover Their Misinformation For An Article Meant To Malign The Administration

The people who are against our current administration are like vultures. Circling and hovering, until they see an opportunity to attack, they do so in a swift manner, never thinking about the consequences.

This is exactly what is happening in the our country. The Liberal Party and all the detractors of the president flock to attack when they hear something that can destroy the President's administration.

Last week, Interaksyon, Rappler, and even ABS-CBN released articles that can be considered as libelous. In the article, there is only one message, it is that the Philippines had a worst impunity index, and all of them are implying it is because of the current administration.

Unfortunately for them, it was debunked that the information they used was last 2012-2014, during the Aquino administration.

Following the new information that was released, Rappler then edited their article to show that the data was taken last 2012-2014.

Facebook page Ambag Bayan called out Rappler about what they did. As a defense, it is perfectly normal for news sites to edit their articles when they discover new information. But the problem with this is that Rappler wanted to destroy a reputation, the first article was damaging to the administration.
