“It’s about time” Sen. Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, for his part, said it was time for the Senate to deal with this actuation in order to maintain order in the chamber. “We practice parliamentary courtesy to avoid occurrence of such incidence. This is very unparliamentary,”

“I have voiced out my concern regarding Trillanes’ actuations towards colleagues a few months ago already.” Ejercito said in a text message.

The senator added he has been voicing out his concerns regarding Trillanes’ actuations towards some senators and was unfortunate that it happened again during the blue ribbon hearing.

“I feel that these kinds of actuations have to be dealt with accordingly. It’s about time so that it doesn’t get out of hand. Senators should practice proper decorum at all times,” he added.

Since the Duterte administration started Trillanes already made conflicts with his colleague, he backs his colleague Senator Richard Gordon ethics complaint planned to file against Senator Antonio Trillanes IV after the clash of the two senators during the hearing on the P6.4-B shabu shipment from China last Friday.

“It is unfortunate the incident yesterday does not give a good impression of the senate. I feel that these kind of actuations have to be dealt with accordingly” he said.

Ejercito was talking about the incident where Senator Zubiri and Trillanes almost had a fist fight inside the senate after their heated debate on which committee should investigate the bribery scandal in the Bureau of Immigration.

He labeled the actions of Senator Trillanes as ‘unparliamentary’.

Former Senator and now Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, Senators Manny Pacquiao, Tito Sotto and Miguel Zubiri were also engaged with Trillanes in a word war in the past.

One of the most notable incidents was during a senate probe while they were debating about an issue when Sen. Trillanes turned off the microphone of former Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano. According to the blog of ThinkingPinoy, the 7 members of the Senate Ethics Committee, Senators Sotto, Lacson, Honasan, Poe, Pacquiao, Hontiveros and also Trillanes are going to vote if the complaint planned to be file by Gordon would be endorsed to the plenary or not.

Senator Trillanes might be expelled in the senate because of his behavior if the majority of the members of the Senate Ethics Committee will vote in favor of the ethics complaint planned to be file by Gordon. It’s about time for our 22 active senators to vote for the fate of the soldier-turned-politician senator.

It’s all in the hands of our senators whether Senator Trillanes will be expelled or not in the Senate. Let us see what will happen.
